Planning a Field Trip or Day Care Outing for Your Children’s Group?

We offer a cost effective, educational, open air adventure for school children on the Sahl Farm.  While we have hosted upper grades, most of our activities are geared toward elementary children, pre-schoolers, and day care age levels.   Teachers on our farm will find comfort in our well organized field trips designed to keep things moving for the children while maintaining plenty of flexibility for group leaders to switch things up as needed for their individual groups.

COST:

Field Trip wristbands are $6 per student.*  Chaperones receive FREE admission.**

*Since we have a limited staff during field trips to keep costs as low as possible, we request that you send at least 1 chaperone per 8 students.  Thank you for your consideration in this matter.

**No more than 1 free Chaperone per 4 students.

Other guests, such as parents or siblings, are permitted to come with the field trip group. However, their admission price will be $7 per additional person (pumpkin not included).

SUPPLEMENTAL CURRICULUM:

You may prepare for your trip with grade level appropriate supplemental curriculum. The password for this curriculum link will be supplied upon confirming your reservation. The average field trip group spends 2½ – 3 hours on the farm including eating a picnic lunch. You may wish to plan for more or less time depending on your particular group’s size and preferences.

RESERVATIONS:

Our facilities and staff limit us to handling no more than 200 children on the farm at any given time.  As a result, our times of availability do book up quickly.  Please keep this and the size of your group in mind as you make plans to join us for farm outings.  To discuss options and reserve a date for your group, contact us here or by phone and ask for Melodie.
